Hans Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche IV´s Labrang er glade for at kunne meddele følgende:
   Den 19. september 1997 mødtes Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche IV med H.H. Dalai Lama i Dharamsala. Her modtog hans eminence et navn, Tenzin Osel Cho Ying Gyamtso, et brev hvor i H.H. Dalai Lama erklærer sig enig i H.H Karmapa XVII genkendelse af Rinpoche, samt den traditionelle "hair-cutting ceremony".

   Det er nu planlagt at Hans Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche IV tager til sit hovedsæde Pullahari i Nepal den 17. November 1997. Det er muligt at deltage i velkomst ceremonien, kontakt venligst Pullahari:

The Labrang of His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche IV happily announce:
   The 19th of september 1997 H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche IV met with H.H. Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Here His Eminence received the name, Tenzin Osel Cho Ying Gyamtso, a letter of approval in which H.H. Dalai Lama proclaim His agreement to the recognition of Rinpoche by H.H Karmapa XVII, and the traditional hair-cutting ceremony.

   It has now been planed that His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche IV will travel to His mainseat at Pullahari in Nepal on the 17th of November 1997. It will be possible to participate in the welcome ceremony, please contact Pullahari:
